As one of the founder members of BAS, Geoff Berrisford needs no introduction. He has continued to support the Series in the subsequent 20+ years in many ways including as a class sponsor and notably in 2022 significantly contributing to help launch the BAS TV youtube coverage. We would like to continue and develop the hugely popular live streaming into 2023 but to help cover the significant cost of providing this service there will be an increase in registration fees from £25 to £30. Registrations will be opening online very soon once the behind the scenes administration has been updated and will provide full details of this as it comes up so watch this space (or that of our Facebook page!). It will be necessary to be a BAS registered member if you wish to race at any of the first 4 rounds of the 2023 Series, unless of course you are a host league member of a round and then you are welcome to race at that specific round. It has also been arranged with NASA that for 2023 it will only be allowable to be a member of BAS or UKAC – not both (again you can still race at your home round though, regardless of which Series you are a member of). though, regardless of which Series you are a member of).
Just to confirm dates of the 2023 Series:
Round 1 – 13th & 14th May – Mallow
Round 2 – 24th & 25th June – South Wales
Round 3 – 15th & 16th July – Yorkshire Dales
Round 4 – 19th & 20th August – Scunthorpe
Round 5 – 16th & 17th September – Southern League
Reserve date – 30th Sept / 1st October
